Penylan Preserves, a multi award winning company, started as a hobby and has evolved into an enduring passion for creating high quality, locally produced and most importantly, flavourful preserves in the heart of Cardiff. Initially crafted from home, Penylan Preserves Ltd has now expanded to include a dedicated commercial kitchen where these exceptional preserves are produced.
Their ingredients are freshly sourced from local independent businesses. They are meticulously hand-chopped and hand-stirred to create our delicious jams, marmalades and chutneys.
The perfect accompaniment on your breakfast toast or a tea time scone - or dollop on to yoghurt, ice cream or into Eton Mess!
Raspberry Jam: Sugar, Raspberries, Sunflower Oil
Strawberry Jam: Strawberries (50%), Sugar, Lemon Juice (Lemon Juice from concentrate, Preservative: (Potassium Metabisulphite)), Pectin Powder, Sunflower Oil.
Mixed Berry: Mixed Fruit (Cherries, Blackcurrants, Redcurrants, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries), Sugar, Sunflower Oil
Plum: Plums (50%), Sugar, Water, Sunflower Oil
All allergens are in bold.

Why do we charge £9.95 per delivery?
Our orders are hand-packed with great care in specialist insulated packaging and sent by overnight courier. No expense is spared to ensure your food arrives on time and in perfect condition. We pack all parcels with ice packs and foil insulation liners, which we hope you can reuse, including hand-written gift messages, where requested.
At Black Mountains Smokery we like to be transparent, we don’t hide our delivery charges elsewhere. We hope our quality of service and produce is worth the small extra cost.
